A survivor of the vicious assault by armed assailants on the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode expressway shared the harrowing ordeal, revealing how the gunmen coerced them further into the wilderness. Eventually, under threat, he surrendered N103,000 and his phone to them out of fear for his life. He also recounted how another abducted driver, hailing from the Eastern region, disclosed that the kidnappers had already extracted N120,000 from him prior to their abduction.
This incident happened at past five in the evening, they were armed to the teeth with A.K 47 rifles shooting heavily. They even killed one person who was inside a Lexus car.
